ReplyDeleteYeah Edwina ... a Canadian doll maker... I've been sculpting paper 3- dolls since childhood and have just recently taken the challenge to make cloth dolls. I love all history and dolly things... and I'm so happy to find someone close to home who creates.... Nice vintage doll by the way ..love the lacy hat lamp accessory.
ReplyDeleteI looked to see if I had any of your patterns but alas I have not at this date... so I will have to do some research on your gallery... Right now ..I wish to do some blog reading and maybe glean some wonderful information about the Canadian Doll maker association on your site.... my e-mail is roslindca@yahoo.ca /Thanks
Beautiful doll - captures the era perfectly!

Can't pass up your generous offer! I visit your blog often but I just look! Wonderful doll! Costuming is my least favorite part of dollmaking - mostly because it's my most lacking skill. :)
ReplyDeleteCherie cherie@clickworks.com
Costuming is my favorite part in the process of making a doll..playing with the fabrics and trims..selecting what works best for my projects is like being an Art Detective..find the one who "really did it" and being as historically as possible is not an easy task..but one you master beautifully every time! You can find me at scampsmom1953@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! Can you please enter me in your give-away. My email address is craftswithcare@gmail.com.
